Business cards are an essential tool for networking and generating referrals – especially as a student or new doctor of optometry.
The AOA is excited to help get your optometric career off to a successful start by offering two free sets of 250 personalized business cards to their members, each imprinted with the “Member of the AOA” logo. All current AOSA/AOA student members enrolled in an accredited school or college of optometry in the U.S., Puerto Rico and Canada are eligible.

You may order your first free set of AOA-imprinted business cards today. Be sure to have your AOSA/AOA username and password handy. Later, when you have secured a position or place of employment, order your cards to include your practice address and contact information. Your personalized cards will be shipped directly to you at the address indicated on your order form.

Florida optometrists quash effort—again—to pass ‘not-a-doctor’ bill
“Not-a-doctor” bills have resurfaced again during this legislative session, after state affiliates and the AOA defeated similar pushes across the country in 2023. In Florida, on the last day of the legislative session, a bill there to limit the use of specific medical titles failed.
