All roads lead to the Emerald City this June 24-28 as the 118th Annual AOA Congress and 45th Annual AOSA Conference: Optometry's Meeting takes on Seattle, Washington. The featured keynote speakers and performers have all left their mark internationally and have stories attendees have to see to believe.

Opening General Session - 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 24
Former Navy SEAL Robert J. O'Neill is the keynote speaker for this year's Optometry's Meeting Opening General Session. One of the nation's most decorated veterans, O'Neill has received more than 52 honors, including two Silver Stars and four Bronze Stars with Valor awarded for extraordinary and heroic gallantry in action. O'Neill played a role in some of the more storied combat missions of the past decade. Having trained more than 800 special operations and tactical operators, O'Neill offers his unique insight on leadership, decision-making and how to become 'the best of the best.'

One of the most anticipated events of the year, the Opening General Session will feature the 2015 AOA Annual Awards Ceremony and messages from optometric leaders, in addition to engaging keynote speakers.

Celebration of Optometry - 8 to 10:30 p.m., Saturday, June 27
Well-known actor and comedian Sinbad brings a humorous approach to this year's Celebration of Optometry, sponsored by HOYA, with his "hit 'em in the face" style of comedy that has kept audiences laughing for the past two decades. Ranked by Comedy Central as one of the top-100 stand-up comedians of all time, Sinbad is not only known for his comedic performances, but also movies and television shows, such as Jingle All the Way, Houseguest and The Sinbad Show.

But that's not all—performance painter Brian Olsen also will 'wow' the Celebration of Optometry with his internationally renowned "Art in Action" speed-painting show. Olson's creations are choreographed to music as he paints famous, pop-culture portraits on a 4 ½-by-6-ft. canvas in only a matter of minutes.
