American Optometric Student Association

The AOSA is dedicated to promoting the visual welfare and health of the public, promoting the profession of optometry, and enhancing the welfare and education of optometry students.

Since 1968, the AOSA has been the “voice” of optometry students in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. At each of the 23 schools and colleges of optometry, local AOSA Trustees and Trustees-Elect work to keep students informed about issues important to future eye care practitioners. These individuals serve as the primary conduit for individual optometry students to share their concerns with AOSA leadership.
