Optometrist who resides and practices in the United States

As a licensed optometrist practicing in the United States, your membership in the AOA is contingent upon your status as a member in good standing of the affiliated association where your principal practice or place of employment is located. The AOA membership year is the calendar year January 1 through December 31.

To contact the appropriate affiliated association regarding membership, please select below the state in which your principal practice or place of employment is located and provide the basic contact information as requested. Members on active duty in the armed services should select AFOS as their state. Notification of your interest in becoming a member will be sent directly to the affiliated association. They will be in contact with you to answer your membership questions and to initiate your membership in their affiliated association and in the AOA.
