AOA Gains National Platform for Optometry's Priorities in Health Care Reform

The AOA has made patient access to optometric care a top priority as Congress has been considering plans to overhaul the health care system, and is aggressively pushing for new legislative safeguards to block organized medicine and the insurance and managed care industries from restricting access to care.
