EyeTAC - Eye Care Technical Advisory Center | American Optometric Association

EyeTAC^SM is a service offering strategic solutions to health centers that want to improve access to eye care and/or open a sustainable comprehensive vision and eye health service to meet unique needs.

An Optometric Clinic Manual is currently being developed to help centers open and maintain vision services. This will be an A to Z guide for the community health center.

The manual will include the following types of sections:

Community partners and planning
Designing a facility
Staffing models for a facility
Business Plan and financial components
Clinic Operations
Program Sustainability
AOA resources for the office of vision services

Qualified to Serve:

Staff with over 30 years of health center based eye care service delivery and management experience.
Founded in 2006 via collaboration amongst NACHC, Mass League of Community Health Centers, New England Eye Institute and the American Optometric Association.
