VRS AMD from A to Z



The AOA Vision Rehabilitation Section (VRS) is pleased to announce the NEW continuing education course 'AMD from A to Z' to the state associations in 2012

We are excited to partner with Kemin Health, an expert in the nutritional field of Vitamin C and E, Zinc, Essential Fatty Acids, Lutein/Zeaxanthin, on providing valuable information in this two-hour CE program on age-related macular degeneration (AMD) and nutrition.

Our goal is to provide essential education to optometrists across the U.S. and increase interest in the area of vision rehabilitation.

This two-hour course will cover ocular nutrition/nutraceuticals, emphasis on macular pigments (Lutein/Zeaxanthin and macular pigment optical density (MPOD) as well as focus on diagnostic, medical and rehabilitation treatment options for AMD.
