Optometric Clinical Practice Recommendations

Optometric Clinical Practice Recommendations are statements, supported by evidence, that guide optometrists in making choices about specific practice behaviors.

A limited number of practice recommendations, have been developed based on a needs assessment.  Practice recommendations are consistent with the results of a systematic review of evidence conducted by subject experts and the Clinical Guidelines Coordinating Committee.
