At its February 3-5, 2006 Winter meeting in Arlington, VA, the Accreditation Council on Optometric Education took the following actions:

Continuing Accreditation
Classification of “Accredited” continued following a full evaluation visit:
- Ferris State University Michigan College of Optometry, Professional Optometric Degree Program, (2013);
- Indiana University School of Optometry, Professional Optometric Degree Program, (2013);
Withdrawal of accreditation by ACOE *
- San Juan Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Residency in Geriatrics and Visual Impairment Rehabilitation, which is affiliated with Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry
Voluntary withdrawal of accreditation
- None

*Withdrawal of accreditation is not final until the ACOE appeals process has been exhausted, or until 30 days from notification of the withdrawal action.
