AOA Seal of Acceptance

Seal of Acceptance for Eye Protectors for Selected Sports

The American Optometric Association (AOA) has established a program to provide evaluation and recognition of quality eye protectors for selected sports. Products that meet the minimum specifications established by the AOA Commission on Ophthalmic Standards are allowed to use the AOA Seal of Acceptance in product labeling and marketing. The current ASTM F803 Standard Specification for Eye Protectors for Selected Sports specifies the minimum requirements and test procedures necessary for the AOA Seal of Acceptance in this category. All product specifications must be in conformance with the provisions of this document.

The following is a listing of companies whose products have met the AOA specifications for eye protectors for selected sports. You can contact these manufacturers directly for additional information about their products.
