Optometry's Meeting® returns to Washington, D.C., June 21-24, for four days of networking and leadership opportunities alongside peerless, contemporary optometric continuing education and a unique focus on professional advocacy.
The AOA opened its Call for Courses for the continuing education (CE) program at Optometry’s Meeting® 2024 in Nashville, Tennessee. Education will be held Wednesday, June 19, through Saturday, June 22, 2024.
Launched in Fall 2022, the mission of the CIP is to fuel a passion for and create a foundational knowledge base to excel in the management of today’s independent practice of contemporary optometry.

Constant presence: Alliance builds reputation for patient safety advocacy

Founded five years ago, the Health Care Alliance for Patient Safety (HCAPS) is making good on its mission to advocate for patient safety and protect the fundamental doctor-patient relationship. The alliance’s advocacy will be recognized with the AOA’s Apollo Award during a ceremony at the 2023 Optometry’s Meeting® June 21-24.
