Federal Advocacy Representatives

AOA Federal Advocacy Representatives (FAR) are your direct, in-state link to AOA’s federal advocacy efforts. Each state has at least one FAR and they serve as your local resource for all things AOA federal advocacy—they share the latest news and updates from the nation’s capital, help lead grassroots efforts to connect you with your lawmakers on key legislative priorities, and they retain and recruit new AOA-PAC investors and guide the AOA-PAC giving strategy.

*Applicable to all states: Margaret Read, O.D., is the AFOS AOA-FAR and can be reached at navyeyedoc@gmail.com.
