Children's Vision

The majority of children's vision disorders make the act of reading without glasses, for anything but the shortest length of time, difficult and tiring, and reading comprehension, simply out of the question.

Unfortunately, 2 out of 5 school age children suffer disabling vision disorders because they are not identified through vision screenings conducted at schools and pediatricians offices; their identification requires an eye exam by an eye doctor.

That is why the importance of a comprehensive eye exam for children before the age of three is critical to future development.
