Description:
The coronavirus pandemic created a completely new set of specified and sustained visual activities. Due to these requirements, kids who were on the edge of having visual issues are now the most vulnerable when school went virtual for extended periods of time. Even after returning to school, much of the day-to-day activities remain on computers and devices. This increases our need to be aware of the consequences of device use – more than myopia. The areas of ocular motility, binocular function and accommodation are significantly impacted. Our testing must be more in-depth and directed to these areas.
