GL-Utilizing OCT Technology to Differentiate Glaucoma Suspects from Early Manifest Disease
Description:
This course takes a close look at differentiating those patients presenting with early structural indicators of glaucoma from those who simply are suspects and do not require intervention. Many patients present to the eye care provider where there are fundoscopic findings suggestive, but not definitive for glaucoma. This course explored the OCT characteristics that facilitate differentiating those individuals who are at risk for developing glaucoma from those who have early, frank disease. In other words, do I monitor this patient, or do I initiate therapy?
