Description:

The prevalence of pediatric myopia has soared alarmingly as a global epidemic in recent years. Eye care practitioners have to be recognizant and well-versed in treatment modalities and other considerations when it comes to patient education for clinical success. However, inaccurate or mixed information that currently exists in the subject of pediatric myopia and its management may result in misunderstanding, or even delayed interventions for myopia in children. This course aims to introduce practitioners and students the top 5 myths of myopia management, and illustrate how we can overcome them to provide the best quality of clinical care for children.
