IS-Ophthalmic Utilization of Botulinum Toxin in Clinical Practice
Description:
This course examines the clinical uses of botulinum toxin in the eye care setting. Both cosmetic and therapeutic uses of the toxin are discussed in detail, as well as various preparations of the toxin commercially available. Proper selection of the toxin is stressed. Also covered are the administration procedures for a variety of indications for its use, as well as a discussion of the expected outcomes and side effects from the administration of botulinum toxin.
