Description:

Afraid of needles?!   As the scope of optometry expands across the nation, we as optometric physicians have the opportunity to diagnose and manage patients using various injections.  This course identifies the various types of injections utilized by optometric physicians as well as when each injection type is indicated in patient care.  Techniques are demonstrated and medications that are to be injected are reviewed.  You will leave with a better idea of what you need to know/have in order to integrate injections into your practice.
