Description:
Technology surrounding intraocular lenses and cataract surgery is changing at an astonishing rate. In order to provide state-of-the-art care to patients, a provider must be well versed in what advances are taking place. Pre-existing conditions, occupations and visual demands are all important considerations in order to match technologies to eyes that are most suitable to receive them. This course will focus on new technology in the IOL arena and how to provide a systematic evaluation and recommendation for each patient leading up to surgery.
