Description:

The COVID-19 pandemic boosted pet ownership, providing increased companionship, emotional support and security.  Pet ownership increases risks of ocular infections, allergies, and trauma. This evidence-based course surveys pets and their link to cat scratch fever, toxocariasis, toxoplasmosis, periocular tinea, allergic conjunctivitis, SARS-CoV-2 and H5N1 viruses, and periocular trauma.
