Description:

The advent of widefield and ultra widefield imaging is improving our ability to detect as well as more accurately diagnosis and manage peripheral pathology. Widefield imaging is not only limited to color fundus photography but also includes fundus autofluorescence and optical coherence tomography both structural and angiography. This course will focus on the clinical applications and utility of peripheral imaging in common retinal pathologies such diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, lattice, retinal breaks, retinoschisis, retinal detachment, retinal dystrophies, and choroidal tumors.
