Paraoptometric of the Year  

Carol Lovell, CPOT, CPOC, has been a passionate proponent of paraoptometric certification and education, having earned the highest level of certification. With more than 25 years in the paraoptometric field, she is a long-time member of the staff of Gillette Optometric Clinic, PC, joining the practice in 2006. Carol maintains her CPOT, CPOC and ABO certifications.

She has served on the Wyoming Paraoptometric Association (WPA) board, holding all positions including president twice. She has served on the AOA Paraoptometric Resource Center for three years and now serves on the State Affiliate Relations sub-committee. She has also served as the WPA Historian. In addition, she is now serving as the Vision Source Staff Facilitator for Wyoming.

Carol is also active in her community, volunteering at The Legacy Living and Rehabilitation Center, as well as the Campbell County Healthcare Foundation Festival of Trees, which raises funds for the Close to Home Hospice Hospitality House, Lifeline Emergency Response System and the PET/CT Capital Campaign--Improving Cancer Care....One IMAGE at a Time.
