2020 Nebraska Optometry's Fall Convention
The year of the Eye Exam is now forgotten. Still, the determination, fortitude, and resilience of our optometric members and non-members throughout the State of Nebraska and beyond, during the year 2020, is proof that Optometry in Nebraska is Beyond 2020 Vision, the theme for our 2020 Nebraska Optometry's Virtual Fall Convention.
The NOA Program Committee and Para Board of Directors lined up TOP-NOTCH speakers and carefully selected courses for this year's virtual event.
There is ONE track for ODs, offering the chance to earn up to 15 hours of CE from the following nationally known doctors; Emily Aslakson, OD, FAAO, FCOVD; Paul M Karpecki, OD, FAAO; Susan J. Gromacki, OD, MS, FAAO, FSLS; David P. Sendrowski, OD, FAAO; and Christopher Wolfe, OD, FAAO.
The Para Board designed two tracks for para members to earn up to 12 hours, one of which provides specific education for any paras interested in obtaining CPC Certification. Para speakers include Lynn Lawrence, CMSgt, USAF (ret), MSOL, CPOT, ABOC, COA, OSC; Cindi Davis, ABOC, CPOT; Mikaela C. Krueger, ABOM; Kirk Kastens and Rick Guinotte of Acquios Advisors; and John Goertz, OD, and Brandon Baartman, MD of Vance Thompson Vision in Omaha.
Although this convention will not be face-to-face, something that cannot be replaced, it will provide opportunities for online networking with colleagues and exhibitors, prizes, and CE covering cutting-edge topics for your practice.
Also, the NOA Business Meeting will offer you updates for the year and a chance to vote for your 2021 NOA Board of Directors.
We look forward to the day to meet again in person; however, we know this year's Nebraska Optometry's Virtual Fall Convention will be BEYOND your expectations!
