AOA Aesthetics & Dry Eye Workshop

Build competency with in-office treatments for periocular aesthetics & dry eye disease 

The AOA offers a two-day, hands-on periocular aesthetics and dry eye workshop, supported by InMode, in Chicago, Sept. 16-17, that provides optometry practices with an opportunity to build an evidence-based approach for integrating in-office, aesthetics and dry eye treatments. 

This 8-hour CE seminar provides a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum integrating dry eye disease management, advanced aesthetic treatment protocols and botulinum toxin applications. You'll receive hands-on experience with InMode's FDA-cleared devices, including:

• Forma I (bipolar radiofrequency)
• Lumecca I (intense pulsed light)
• Morpheus8/Morpheus Prime (fractional radiofrequency microneedling)

Gain practical proficiency in diagnostic imaging interpretation, treatment protocol selection, device parameter optimization, patient safety management and integration of aesthetic procedures into practice. Additionally, you'll learn about botulinum toxin for reconstitution, facial anatomy, injection techniques, dosing and complication management. 

The AOA Aesthetics & Dry Eye Course is open to all doctors of optometry. However, limited workshop seating is available to promote a focused learning environment. 

Registration is still available for this event. Please note that when you click into registration, you will see a registration for the Practice Growth & Advocacy Conference. The Aesthetics Course occurs in conjunction with this conference and you may select to only attend the Aesthetics Course once inside registration.

What to expect from our schedule?

The AOA Aesthetics Course is the only CE offered during the AOA Practice Growth & Advocacy Conference in Chicago. You may register to attend only the aesthetics course itself, or the aesthetics course and other sessions at this conference. Here's an idea of what our 8-hour workshop course will entail:

Wednesday, Sept. 16

12 p.m. - 1 p.m. | Welcome Lunch
Join fellow workshop attendees for lunch and an opportunity to connect before our course begins.

1 - 5 p.m. | Aesthetics Course - Session 1 (4 CE Hours)
Interactive education featuring lecture, clinical techniques, case discussions and practical applications in aesthetics.

Thursday, Sept. 17

7 - 8 a.m. | Networking Breakfast
Breakfast served prior to the start of the day's educational program.

8 a.m. - 12 p.m. | Aesthetics Course - Session 2 (4 CE Hours)
Continuation of the educational program with advanced topics, case-based learning and practical application. Upon completion, attendees will have earned 8 total CE hours.

The AOA Aesthetic Course will take place in conjunction with the AOA Practice Growth & Advocacy Conference, Sept. 16-19, in Chicago.
