The AOA, affiliates and doctors of optometry across the country are standing up for reimbursement and coverage fairness, supporting optometric practice success and doctors’ ability to deliver quality patient care. Hear an update on those efforts during the AOA Town Hall on Reimbursement and Coverage Fairness on Tuesday, Oct. 29.
Join the AOA Town Hall on Reimbursement and Coverage Fairness on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 9 p.m. ET, as optometry's advocates share critical insights on how they and AOA are working to ensure optometry practices, such as your own, receive fair treatment from vision benefit managers (VBMs), free from interruption in your doctor-patient relationships.
The AOA Town Hall will include updates on AOA and affiliate health and vision plan advocacy efforts, including:
- Latest developments with influential state vision plan legislation.
- Impact of AOA advocacy with health and vision plans.
- Alliances strengthening our advocacy efforts and impact.
- Status of three Congressional investigations into VBM policies and market activities.
Open to all members of the optometric profession, regardless of AOA membership, the AOA Town Hall will be hosted in the AOA EyeLearn Professional Development Hub / Zoom.
