IOA Annual Meeting

The IOA Annual Meeting is being held in downtown Springfield on October 3-5, 2024. We are requesting presence at the following events over the course of the weekend.

Thursday, October 3rd
Event: IOA Executive Council Meeting and Leadership Summit
Location: Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Springfield, IL
Time: 8:00 PM - 9:30 PM
Speaking Time:

• Approximately 15-20 minutes to address the group
• Swear in the 2024-2025 IOA Board of Directors

Friday, October 4th
Event 1: Address CE Attendees
Location: Bank of Springfield Center, Springfield, IL
Time: 7:40 AM
Speaking Time:

• No more than 15 minutes

• Members/Prospective Members

Event 2: IOA Board of Directors Meeting
Location: Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Springfield, IL
Time: 8:15 AM – 11:00 AM and 1:15 PM – 4:00 PM
Speaking Time:

• Approximately 15-30 minutes
• The Trustee may meet with the Board and is welcome to join the meeting for its duration.

Event 3: Illinois Optometry’s Celebration
Location: Abraham Lincoln Hotel, Springfield, IL
Time:

• Cocktail Hour: 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM
• Awards Ceremony and Howl at the Moon (Entertainment to Follow)
• Recognition at Event

Note: The Trustee is welcome to attend CE sessions and that there is only CE and Exhibit Hall on Saturday.
