Always Connecting

And congratulations on taking this important step to invest in your career and our profession. The AOA and our 53 affiliates are the only organizations working 24/7/365 to represent optometry at the highest levels of state and national government.

When you join the AOA, you also join your state affiliate. You become an integral part of two powerful organizations connecting you to valuable clinical, business, and career resources, as well as the collective wisdom and influence of more than 44,000 optometry professionals nationwide.

To begin your membership, select the state association or affiliate in which you work from the menu below. If you serve as an optometry officer on active duty in one of the uniformed services, or if you are a full-time employee of the Veterans Administration (VA) or Federal Civil Service (Indian Health Service or Public Health Service), select the Armed Forces Optometric Society (AFOS) as your affiliate.

To ensure the best experience, use one of these browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer (version 10 or later.)

If your affiliate has online joining capabilities, you will be redirected to their site. You may need to disable pop-up blocker to continue to the selected site.
