How to Become an Associate Member
Your AOA member doctor completes the sponsorship process through the Staff Membership section of MyAOA.

Talk With Your Doctor
Ask the AOA member doctor you work with to sponsor your associate membership.
A simple way to ask:
“AOA member doctors can sponsor eligible staff as associate members at no additional membership cost. Would you add me through the Staff Membership section of your MyAOA account?”
You can also share these enrollment instructions with your doctor.

Your Doctor Adds You in MyAOA
Your sponsoring doctor signs in to MyAOA, selects Staff Membership and adds you to the practice’s sponsored-staff roster.

Watch for Your Welcome Email
After you are added, allow approximately 30 minutes for your associate membership to be created. Newly created associate members will receive welcome communications with information about accessing AOA resources.

Use your AOA credentials to access EyeLearn, member communications and other available associate-member benefits.
