Change Agents
Change Agents
The Collective’s Change Agents, doctors of optometry from every U.S. state and the District of Columbia, will lead the profession in delivering myopia control efforts to patients and advocate for long-term community and policy change that facilitates the mission of the Collective. Change Agents will be part of a movement to shift our nation’s approach to childhood myopia.
Selected Change Agents will have unique access to tools, resources and training to advance your myopia care efforts in your community and amplify advances in care through the profession and advocacy efforts. Change Agents will:
- Take part in a first-of-its-kind interactive educational workshop that combines the didactic, clinical and practice management elements of myopia management with the skills necessary to proactively engage in legislative and community advocacy
- Be provided with the support to bring the learnings back into your practices and communities
- Be showcased so that the entire profession can learn and benefit from your experiences.
