Important Updates

As of March 24, 2020

CMS has extended the deadline for 2019 MIPS reporting to April 30, 2020, 8 p.m. ET.

MIPS eligible clinicians who do not submit their MIPS data by the April 30 deadline will qualify for the 2019 automatic extreme and uncontrollable circumstances policy and receive a neutral payment adjustment in 2021.

The AOA MORE attestation portal will close at 5 p.m. ET on April 30, allowing time to push submissions through to CMS before the deadline.

Review AOA's webinar: 2019 MIPS Reporting through AOA MORE for step-by-step instructions.

IMPORTANT: AOA MORE does not AUTOMATICALLY submit your data to CMS. You must log in and complete the steps described in the webinar link above to provide AOA permission to submit your 2019 MIPS data to CMS.

NEW REQUIREMENTS for 2019 MIPS reporting: You must declare if you are opting-in or voluntary reporting. Opting-in makes you eligible for a negative, positive or neutral payment adjustment. Review this AOA resource: Preparing for Attestation - Opt-In vs Voluntary Reporting

Check your 2019 and 2020 MIPS eligibility status by entering your NPI number and selecting the correct "year" tab.
