What: AOA Reimbursement and Coverage Fairness Town Hall
When: 9 p.m. ET, Tuesday, Oct. 29

An earlier town hall on vision plan abuses drew more than 700 attendees.

“Whether you are an AOA member or not, a doctor who owns a practice, or employed by a corporate entity, vision plan abuses affect us all in our everyday practices,” says Steven Eiss, O.D., chair of the AOA’s Third Party Center Executive Committee.

“From limiting our patient choices to clawing back payments years after the patient was told they were covered, learning to better navigate these issues is an invaluable tool in the care of our patients,” Dr. Eiss adds.

The AOA, affiliates and doctors of optometry across the country are standing up for reimbursement and coverage fairness, supporting optometric practice success and doctors’ ability to deliver quality patient care. Learn more about this advocacy.
