AOA Foundation extends helping hand to damaged practices

It's time to help colleagues in need. Together with Optometry Cares ®—The AOA Foundation and Optometry's Fund for Disaster Relief (OFDR), the AOA is closely following current news reports describing the damage that's been inflicted on businesses—including optometry practices—in several cities.

As noted by AOA President Barbara L. Horn, O.D., "Through involvement with OFDR, the family of optometry can again join together in united and immediate action to aid impacted doctors of optometry and the communities they serve. It's long been a priority to deliver disaster relief support whenever and wherever it's needed by doctors of optometry, and that's the mission today."
