Why do you attend Optometry’s Meeting®? 

I love attending Optometry’s Meeting because it reignites my passion for optometry! Connecting with optometrists from across the country provides valuable insights and growth opportunities. The education enhances my skills and knowledge, making me a better doctor. When I return to my office, I’m energized and excited to apply what I have learned to improve patient care! 

Why should all AOA members attend?  

One word: growth. Attending Optometry’s Meeting is essential for advancing our profession and better serving our patients. It offers the chance to engage with industry leaders, enhancing our knowledge, clinical skills, and professional relationships, all of which drive our growth! 

What kind of advancement do you hope to see for the profession?  

Being the doctors we are trained or training to be. Using scope advancement to treat our patients with top-notch care all across the country. Leading the world in eye care!  

What can attendees expect when visiting Nashville, Tennessee, this year? 

Optometrists can expect a great time! In Nashville, they can look forward to excellent education and networking opportunities, combined with fantastic music, delicious food, and an amazing atmosphere! 

 Why are you proud to be a Tennessee optometrist? 

I am proud to be a Tennessee optometrist because our state is known for its southern hospitality, amazing music, natural beauty and wonderful people. Treating and getting to know my unique Tennessee patients is a privilege and helping them see better feels like a way of giving back to this incredible community and state!
