New Technology and EHR

The annual New Technology & EHR Survey was designed to evaluate current use and awareness of technology available for the optometric practice. Results from this survey provide descriptive statistics on current and historical use of technology such as ophthalmic equipment, electronic software to document patient care and manage administrative functions of the practice, meaningful use and adoption of EHR, and internet use.

Detailed Analysis Report. This detailed comprehensive report employs limited narrative, and includes tabulations and graphics for further statistical analysis. Utilizing cross tabulation, this report enables the user to monitor trends in the optometry profession specific to his or her practice characteristics, including employment situation, gender, practice type and U.S. Census Region. This report is available in PDF, CD, and Print.
